Dr. Zijian Zheng Join in School of Materials Science & Engineering, Hubei University from 2017. Dr. Zijian Zheng Wang received B.E. from Hubei University in July 2010, and PhD from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in December 2016. His expertize covers exploring the relationship between microstructure and macromechanics of polymer nanocomposites through Molecular Dynamics simulation.
Prof. Wang’s group is working on advanced functional materials and devices, in particular those based on surface-mounted metal-organic framework thin films (SURMOFs) and for their applications in gas separation, catalysis, sensors, photonics, electronics and energy conversions. The figure (above) demonstrates the programmed layer-by-layer strategy to fabricate SURMOFs.
